88 E Energy, rose Monday to .042 from previous Wednesday close of .oo7
BUT Yesterday and today it fell due to all those short sellers cashing in and also those about to buy their options, they sold to cover costs.
NEVER THE LESS, 88e's North Alaska field has been referred to as possibly the largest oil and gas field ever found.
If this proves to be correct, then we can still be optimistic..
If it proves wrong, then e make sure we haven't invested much, and we might lose our modest investment.
the Bollinger bands showed that Mondays price was overvalued. the high rose outside the upper band. Right now it may be ready for a squeeze and a further rise. Lets see.

Wall street Journal promotes GCN - Go connect
Wall street Journal article says it all. Promotes GCN Go Connect
Is Jackson Star Power Shining on GoConnect Shares?

- Jermaine Jackson performs with The Jacksons in the U.S. last year.
- Associated Press
The company’s shares have soared 250% this week. They jumped 33% on Tuesday and another 38% on Wednesday before the Australian Securities Exchange asked the company for a possible explanation.
In a filing to the exchange on Thursday, GoConnect Executive Chairman Richard Li said he couldn’t say for sure why the shares were soaring, but pointed to Go JLJ Entertainment, in which GoConnect has a 40% stake. (I thought it was only stated as 20% in their announcement-Mega)
Go JLJ Entertainment, GoConnect revealed on Thursday, is launching an American Idol-style musical competition in China, starring Jermaine Jackson, brother of Michael Jackson and a former member of the Jackson 5.
GoConnect’s shares rose another 91% on Thursday to an all-time high.
JJ5, as the competition will be known, will be broadcast in more than 50 Chinese cities.
Mr. Li said Go JLJ Entertainment had been advised that “securing significant sponsorships should not be difficult, particularly with the popularity of the Jacksons in China,” and that JJ5′s success would likely mean a big boost for GoConnect’s revenue.
The debut of JJ5 follows the rise of the Chinese version of The Voice as China’s most popular show. “I plan to find five talented individuals to create the next big all-round musical band and I plan to find them in China, which has the largest pool of undiscovered musical talent in the world,” Mr. Jackson said in a statement.
The first stage of the show will involve auditions and the selection of 15 contestants that can sing and dance. In the second stage, Mr. Jackson will mentor the contestants in three five-person groups. In the final stage, the bands will face off, with the winner claiming the name ‘Five.’

Carbon Tax Will Cost JobsCategories: Sundry
Back in April I posted about an article that alluded to the possibility of the carbon tax actually leading to the increase of pollution as heavy carbon emitting industries pack up and move offshore. Not only that – a significant number of Australian jobs will be lost as well!
Those who support the carbon tax have preached about the new economy and how the tax will lead to job creation and new opportunities. This sort of talk is just that – talk! The reality will most likely be that entire sectors of industry will fold up their operations and move offshore. With that will go thousands of jobs.
At the beginning of this week, supporters of a carbon emissions tax were heralding the news of a substantial increase in carbon reduction targets from Britain. But then just a few days later, the consequences of that decision became clear with one of the world’s largest steel produces Tata Steel deciding to cut 1,500 in Britain.
This article from The Australian reports on the development and to quote from it;
Karl-Ulrich Kohler, Tata Steel’s head of Europe, blamed the cuts on the decline of the construction industry, but added that new EU environmental laws and planned British legislation had compounded the company’s problems.
“Europe’s steel industry is in danger of being made uncompetitive in the world market because of European taxes on UK emissions,” said Dr Kohler.
“But here in Britain we are facing a double whammy of carbon targets.”
Under the coalition deal, the government plans to bring in the toughest carbon emissions targets in the world by 2027. The EU has already said that member states must slash emissions, but Britain will go farther and cut them by 80 per cent by 2050.
Godfrey Bloom, the UKIP MEP in whose Yorkshire & North Lincolnshire constituency the Scunthorpe cuts will fall, said the “misguided” carbon legislation had made “a bad commercial situation far, far worse”.
He added: “Certain extra costs and additional targets are clearly undermining business confidence. The result, as we see, is lost jobs.”
We are seeing the very same message from sectors of Australian industry – warning of the dire consequences.

the MARKET fall is an opportunity - here's a free tip
On the worst day in the downturn, NWT Newstat Ltd was 2nd on the highest vol traded last friday 18.01.08 on asx market stats, with a rise of 25%.
NOW at .006 (less than one cent) it is about the cheapest stock one could find with potential. According to their announcement and presentation in Nov as below. go to http://www.asx.com.au/ -
type in NWT in company research, scroll down to the list of announcements. There you will find this presentation. Part only included here.
"• The Australian Government Subsidy Scheme (“ABG”) $160M already guaranteed • NewSat has acquired a Surfbeam Hub to run a wholesale business model through established ISP, Dodo • Dodo to market and sell the service • NewSat to provide the satellite infrastructure • Target of 32,000 clients (CPE and install paid by Australian Government) • 8,000 in 2007/08, 24,000 in 2008/09 • Both political parties say the funds will continue into 2009 if the need is evident PLUS • NewSat negotiates use of a slot from an existing holder • Makes application in December to Federal Government for funding from the $400m pool earmarked for Telecommunications • Offers to match the Government dollar for dollar with a credible partner. Several have already identified and expressed significant interest in joining NewSat’s bid • NewSat funds its share with either existing financial partner Cornell Capital or a Multi-national Investment BankT"
I think its a small risk for a high potential return, so I'M BUYING 100,000 at .006 for a small investment of $600.00 plus fees.
kind regards,
Mega
